The Malabar Rehabilitation Centre For Differently-Abled (MRCD)
MRCD (formerly known as MRCH) is fully devoted to give a friendly environment, a sense of community and belonging, as well as a hope for the children of special needs and adults who are part of our society, mostly from poor economic background. Our Vision
Our endeavor is to extend special educational opportunities to the neglected children with special needs from our society, especially who are mentally challenged. The vision of the institution is to create and provide special education to the children with special needs and to assist them in normal development and attain inclusive education. The entire process shall instill a confidence among these children to face challenges in life with courage and confidence.

To be one of the first ten professionally managed institutions in Kerala for "children with special needs" and focus on their rehabilitation.

With the generous support of humanitarians and well-wishers, MRCD has been able to achieve the basic infrastructure of land and buildings over the past 20 years. The institution is situated at Thayineri on the bank of Kavvayi River, with abundant natural beauty and scope for improvement as an echo-park.
MRCD Charitable Trust
Malabar Rehabilitation Centre for Differently-Abled (MRCD) is a registered Charitable Trust, established in 2002 (formerly known as MRCH) in Payyanur, Kannur District. MRCH was formed by service oriented and selfless persons of Payyanur with the objective of rehabilitating children with special needs from the society, within the jurisdiction of Kannur and Kasaragod Districts.
